IL "MERCATINO DEL PIU' E DEL MENO"
Sabato 7 maggio , la nostra scuola ha
organizzato una specie di mercatino nella piazza centrale della
città, allo scopo di raccogliere soldi per autofinanziarsi e per
beneficenza: il
"mercatino del più e del meno".
Dopo lunghi e difficili preparativi, finalmente il giorno tanto
atteso era arrivato! Noi bambini eravamo molto eccitati perché
anche noi avevamo lavorato per il mercatino! Molti di noi avevano
fatto diversi manufatti: oggetti di pasta al sale, dipinti,
ceramiche, bottigliette con i sali colorati…Anche i nostri
genitori avevano partecipato all’organizzazione del
mercatino: avevano preparato tante torte squisite, lavori a
maglia e a uncinetto, ricami, lavori di cucito, lavori in
legno…in breve, ognuno aveva fatto ciò che sapeva fare. La
nostra collaboratrice scolastica Maria Luisa, inoltre, aveva
intrecciato bellissimi cestini in vimini a tantissimi altri
oggetti in vimini. E così, insegnanti, genitori, collaboratori
scolastici, la direttrice, impiegati della segreteria e,
soprattutto, noi stessi, avevamo lavorato tutti insieme prima,
per organizzare il mercatino e poi per prendervi parte per tutta
la giornata del 7 maggio. Le insegnanti avevano organizzato anche
varie mostre di tutte le attività che si svolgono nella nostra
scuola. E così, c’era l’angolo Comenius con
tutti i lavori prodotti dai nostri partners Europei e da noi
stessi . C’era l’angolo con il Progetto Ambiente e quello dell’Informatica e dell'Editoria. Grazie a Dio, il tempo era splendido, caldo e
soleggiato e così ci siamo potuti godere per bene la giornata.
In mattinata andammo tutti in piazza Santa Restituta, dove si
teneva il mercatino e noi bambini contenti e soddisfatti ci
divertimmo a curiosare tra i vari stands e a cercare di
riconoscere gli oggetti prodotti da noi stessi o dai nostri
genitori. Nel pomeriggio ci trovammo tutti di nuovo in piazza. Il
Sindaco di Sora tenne un bel discorso in cui elogiava la nostra
scuola e tutte le attività che facciamo. Anche la direttrice,
dottoressa Orietta Palombo, nel suo discorso lodò tutti noi,
alunni, insegnanti e genitori per il nostro impegno.
THE "ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR"
On Saturday 7th of May, our school set up a kind of market in the central square of our town, in order to collect money for school purposes and for charity, the "Arts and crafts fair". After a long troubled preparation, the longed for day arrived!
We, children, were very excited as we had been working hard to prepare it. Many of us had made different kinds of handicrafts: articles made of dough (yes, the same dough with which we make pasta or pizza, only that, afterwards, it is cooked in the oven and painted ), paintings, ceramics, little bottles with coloured salts inside…Our parents had also taken part in organizing the market: they prepared a lot of different delicious cakes, knitted work, embroidered work, needlework, wood-work…in short, everybody made what they were able to do. Our caretaker Maria Luisa made beautiful wicker baskets and a lot of other wicker things. So, teachers, parents, caretakers, headmistress, school office clerks and, above all, us, worked all together first, to set up the market and then to look after it for the whole day of Saturday 7th May. We also had an exhibition of all the activities carried out by the school. So there was a big Comenius show with all the posters, photos, albums, handicrafts sent by our European partners. There was also an exhibition of a project for the respect of natural parks and the environment and one of the computer lab. Thanks God, the weather was lovely, sunny and hot and so we enjoyed the whole day. In the morning we were all in the square where the market was kept, we enjoyed peeping in the stalls and trying to recognize things made by us or by our parents. In the afternoon we met again in the square. The Mayor of Sora was with us and made a speech in which he praised our school and all the nice and pleasant activities that we do. Our headmistress, Mrs Orietta Palombo, also delivered her speech and she praised the pupils, the teachers and the parents, too. In seguito , ci fu il nostro concerto diretto dal maestro Tatangelo e per concludere, le esibizioni delle famose mini-majorettes e degli ormai celebri sbandieratori del 3° Circolo didattico, sempre applauditissimi. Rimanemmo tutti in piazza fino alle 8 di sera. Era così bello e piacevole stare tutti lì, bambini, maestri e genitori e condividere insieme questo momento di educazione ma anche di divertimento! Afterwards we had a choir and, as an ending, our "mini-majorettes" and our "sbandieratori" had their performances. We all remained in the square till 8 o’clock in the evening, as it was nice and pleasant staying there all together, pupils, teachers and parents and living this moment of education but also of fun.
